We are a team of academics and online media experts. We feel that with the increased golbalisation of education and academic research we could benefit from a more level advertising playing field - allowing universities to compete more so on merit than budget.

We want to create a system where students can search for post-graduate positions for free and University departments can advertise for free no matter where in the world they are based.

This website is not profit-focused and therefore we rely on our users telling friends and colleagues about the service and spreading the word.

All we ask is that students and staff email friends and colleagues to tell them about the furtherstudy website.

As a relatively young site this viral spread will decide whether its something we continue to fund and develop or let drift in to obscurity, we hope all our users find the site useful and easy to use, and more importantly are able to get results. We promise that it will always be free to post normal further study positions and to search for placements on furtherstudy.

Education is the only way to bring an end to much of what is wrong in the world, be it poverty, discrimination, terrorism or any of the many problems mankind still faces today.

There are many incredibly motivated, intelligent and brilliant students in some of the worlds more disadvantaged education systems which will benefit from accessing first-world further education. These students can be some of the most beneficial people as they can carry this knowledge back to their countries of origin and over many years can make a significant impact to the quality of education and skills available in these areas.

Increases of internationalism and globalisation helps to bring countries and societies closer together in undrestanding and commerce making the world a more stable place.

These are all things we want to encourage, furtherstudy is not the solution, but it can be part of it.

Our aim is that furtherstudy becomes the worlds biggest database of up-to-date furtherstudy positions and the best way to advertise your position to students across the world. We want to make a positive impact.
